The original prologue trailer was published on August 13, 2026. The pinned all-versions post dated August 14 labels the horror project as version 1.0 and provides separate Windows, Android and iOS destinations. Together, these give the version a clear place in the project’s published history without turning a post timestamp into a guessed installer release time.

That pinned post also contains links for other projects. The relevant section is the one titled 恐怖版1.0版本, meaning the horror version 1.0. Nearby version numbers for other mods do not belong in the PVZ Scared changelog. Keeping the original section name matters when checking an older screenshot or a copied link list.

This is a record of the 1.0 prologue, not a claim that the same destination still contains an untouched 1.0 installer. A shared folder can be updated after an announcement. Players who want to begin now should use the current download page and read the v1.0.1 notes before choosing a file.

A horror project built around the garden and diary

PVZ Scared keeps the recognisable garden setting while changing the plants, zombies and atmosphere around it. The original character series introduces figures such as 诡笑葵, 诡异射手 and 狂尸. The prologue trailer is a useful first look because it presents the project in its own visual style, with the team credited alongside the announcement.

The diary gives the horror another layer. It is a fictional account within the game, not a list of development tasks. Reading it beside the encounters lets you follow the narrator’s changing view of the garden. The story page offers an introduction, while the diary guide keeps its more revealing discussion behind a spoiler control. You do not have to read an ending explanation before starting the prologue.

Character showcases and the package record should still be kept separate. The original series contains development videos from before and after the prologue announcement. A video’s presence in that series does not establish that every demonstrated character, attack or later adjustment shipped in the 1.0 file. These notes therefore do not invent a complete launch roster or numerical balance table.

The three platform entries and four website languages

The PVZ Scared 1.0 record links Windows PC, Android and iOS separately. Choose the entry for your operating system, then read the available file instructions. An Android package is not a Windows program, and the iOS link is not an App Store listing. The existence of a platform link does not by itself establish compatibility with every device or operating-system release.

The website can be read in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Spanish. Those are reading choices for the website and its guides. They do not represent four different game-language packages. In particular, the Spanish page helps Spanish-speaking players find and understand PVZ Scared; it does not promise an official Spanish edition of the game.

Before replacing an existing copy, preserve its saves and retain the original filename for reference. If a compressed download is supplied, wait for completion and extract the full contents rather than launching from an archive preview. Follow the current platform guidance for mobile installations. An error message should be recorded and investigated, not dismissed by disabling device protections.

Moving from the prologue record to v1.0.1

The later PVZ Scared v1.0.1 notice addresses a mushroom that fails to explode at level 41. It also explains an unusual numbering detail: a main menu showing 1.1 identifies the older build in that notice. A higher-looking menu number is therefore not enough to decide which download is current. The 1.0.1 page explains the distinction and the checks to make before updating.

If you are revisiting an older installation, first identify which folder or app you actually open. An unchanged shortcut can launch the previous copy even after a new download has finished. Keep the old progress intact while checking the replacement, and do not assume that saves can move between versions or platforms without specific instructions.

Use this page when you need the historical context of the prologue. Use the download page when you need a file, the installation guide when you need setup help, and troubleshooting when something goes wrong. Each has a different purpose. The changelog’s source dates help you trace announcements; they are not fictional diary dates, promises of archived binaries or a schedule for future releases.
